GUADELOUPE or KARUKERA… The island of beautiful waters !
This is what the Caribbean Indians called the Guadeloupe archipelago.
Dreamlike landscapes, postcard scenery, over 400 kilometers of beaches, underwater wildlife, waterfalls, coconut palms… and above all, a welcoming history, culture and population.
The island of Guadeloupe is divided into two parts (which give Guadeloupe its butterfly shape).
It comprises two parts separated by a very narrow inlet, the Salt River. The east and west wings of the island are linked by a bridge.
On the Atlantic side: Grande Terre, 586 km², is rather flat and dry.
On the Caribbean side: Basse Terre, 848 km², is wilder, mountainous, with dense tropical vegetation, numerous rivers, waterfalls and wild beaches. It is dominated by the Soufrière volcano, which rises to 1,467 m.
It’s right here, on the Caribbean coast of Basse-Terre, that we can welcome you to our villas!
Our little corner of paradise is located in Pointe-Noire, just a minute’s walk from the Maison du Cacao, between Deshaies and Malendure.
With us, you’ll be at the heart of Guadeloupe’s magnificent attractions.
Here, nature is as diverse on land as it is at sea. A multitude of beaches and coves, waterfalls and rainforests, wildlife and flower parks make up the landscape of Guadeloupe’s west coast.
In the evenings and at lunchtime, numerous restaurants and bars offer Creole and international cuisine. Back at your villa, you’ll find peace, comfort and serenity in our lush garden.
Nestled in an 8,000m² tropical garden with direct access to a small beach on the Caribbean Sea, our 4 villas (Villa Manguier with its private infinity pool and our 3 villas under construction, air-conditioned, for 2 to 6 people) welcome you in absolute calm amid a multitude of palm, mango, lemon, banana and exotic flowers.
To reach our paradise, you’ll need to take the Route de la Traversée (the famous D23 that criss-crosses the Basse-Terre massif from east to west) and arrive at Pointe-Noire on the west coast of Guadeloupe Island, famous for its breathtaking sunsets.
If you’d like to rent a car, we have rental cars available for our tourists. A shuttle service from Pointe-à-Pitre airport to our premises and back is also available.
