Maison du Cacao
A visit to the garden, surrounded by beautiful vegetation and cocoa trees. An introduction to cocoa processing, from the pod (the fruit of the cocoa tree) containing the seeds to the final product, chocolate.
Waterfall "Le Saut d'Acomat"
With its emerald water, bathe in the river or the waterfall basin surrounded by lush nature.
Sanctuary of Notre-Dame des Larmes
On the edge of the rainforest, this sanctuary is set in an exceptional landscape. A place of pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin Mary, she is said to have made two apparitions here in 1977.
Anse Caraïbe Beach
Pointe-Noire’s largest beach, not very popular with tourists, remains authentic with a few Creole restaurants and water sports activities, and has free parking, showers and picnic shelters.
Ti-Anse Beach

Aquaculture Park
Discover aquaculture while respecting the environment. Here you’ll find ouassou, Creole red mullet and Caribbean bass. For a moment of relaxation, you can go angling and observe different species of birds (osprey, kingfisher, kios (green heron), snowy egrets) in their natural environment. Every Friday (in season) and Sunday there’s a tasting of fresh produce from the table d’hôte. You can also buy the day’s catch.
The Côte-sous-le-Vent home
A pleasant stroll through the park’s themed areas. There are plenty of games for young children: tree house, outdoor games, trampoline, pirate ship… Picnics are permitted in the park. Take-away food available around the Habitation and in Pointe-Noire. Picnic areas are provided in the garden of the Habitation.

The Village
A small, colorful fishing village, full of charm, with Caribbean-style wooden houses, surrounded by high wooded hills, where some cruise ships stop off. You’ll find good restaurants and shops.
The Beaches
Deshaies’ beautiful golden-sand beaches (Grande-Anse beach and Perle beach (famous thanks to the TV series “Meurtres au paradis”) with their restaurants; the wilder Leroux beach; Fort-Royal beach, etc.).
The Botanical Garden
Also known as “Coluche’s garden”, it was bought in 1979 by the comedian Coluche, who made it his Guadeloupean home. A botanical garden since 2001, its visit allows you to discover tropical flora and vegetation, as well as a number of bird species. You can stand among the multicolored lorikeets, observe them up close and feed them.

Thermal springs
These are hot springs that emerge through earth faults, heated by Guadeloupe’s volcanic magma.
Mamelles Zoological Park
Discover animals (around 400 species) and flora in the heart of 4 hectares of tropical forest. A walk up the immense trees via footbridges will enable you to admire species that would otherwise be impossible to see, and to experience incomparable sensations.
Le Tapeur climbing adventure park
Located in the heart of the Bouillante rainforest, opposite the Parc des Mamelles zoo, you’ll find 5 trails for all levels (from the most timid to the most daring). A 500-metre zip line and tree climbing in the rainforest are not to be missed!
Malendure Beach
It is very popular with visitors, thanks to the many water sports activities that depart from here for the Cousteau Reserve and Ilets Pigeon. Turtles can also be seen here.
